Fill templates

For fixed-format documents such as contracts, application forms, and certificates, the template-plus-materials approach works best: upload a template and source materials, and GenDocX identifies fill-in areas and completes them.

Example prompts

  • Generate three employment contracts from this template: names and ID numbers from the attached list, position always "Product Operations", start dates from column three.

Documents that fit

Contracts and agreements

Procurement, labor, and lease contracts generated repeatedly with fixed clauses.

Application forms

Standardized onboarding, expense, and approval forms.

Certificates and letters

Employment certificates, income letters, and formal notices.

Standard reports

Weekly, monthly, and audit working papers with fixed structures.

How it works

  1. Prepare the template

Upload the .docx template and keep its field labels and placeholder areas.

  2. Upload the materials

Provide the source data: spreadsheets, PDFs, screenshots, or pasted text.

  3. Explain the mapping

For example: "party A details come from the business license; the amount comes from clause 1 of the annex".

  4. Verify the result

Check accuracy, especially numbers, dates, and names.
