1.The Service

GenDocX is a browser-based AI agent that helps you create, edit, and format Word (.docx) documents from natural-language instructions and source files you provide.

The service is currently offered as a public beta. Features, usage limits, and availability may change as we continue to improve the product.

2.Your Account

You need an account to use GenDocX. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the service.

3.Your Content

You retain full ownership of the files you upload, the documents you generate, and everything else you create with GenDocX.

You grant GenDocX a limited license to host, process, and display your content solely as needed to operate the service for you.

You are responsible for having the necessary rights to any content you upload, and for reviewing generated documents before relying on them.

4.Acceptable Use

You may not use GenDocX to violate applicable law, infringe the rights of others, create deceptive or malicious content, or attempt to compromise the service or other users' data.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service or put it at risk.

5.AI Outputs

GenDocX uses automated AI models to generate content and formatting. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your purpose. You should review and verify any document before using it in a legal, financial, medical, or other high-stakes context.

You use AI-generated outputs at your own discretion and risk.

6.Our Intellectual Property

GenDocX, including its software, models, templates, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you any right to copy, resell, or redistribute the service itself.

7.Termination

You may stop using GenDocX and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, or if required to protect the service, other users, or third parties.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits — will remain in effect.

8.Disclaimers and Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that documents will be error-free or meet any specific requirement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GenDocX will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9.Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
