Upload materials
GenDocX extracts information from the materials you provide. Upload files or paste text directly; supported types and size limits are shown in the interface.
Common material types
Word documents
Existing drafts, templates, and finalized files.
Scanned contracts, reports, and specifications.
Excel spreadsheets
Name lists, ledgers, and statistical data.
Images and screenshots
Photos of paper documents and screen captures.
You can provide several files at once; the agent selects and merges information as the task requires. Materials packed in a ZIP archive can be uploaded as well.
Improve extraction accuracy
Prefer structured sources
Tables and lists are easier to extract accurately than long prose.
Name files clearly
Use "2026Q3-sales.xlsx" instead of "Untitled".
Point to the source
State which field comes from which file in your instruction.
